Shortage of officers in Indian Armed Forces!!!

HOW WE ARE FACING THE SHORTAGE Most  of you all have already heard somewhere that we have a shortage of Officers in our armed forces However very few of them are aware of the actual numbers. Let us look into the subject today. As of September 2018, we have the shortage of 9096 officers in Indian Army. The numbers are taken from the response of Defence Minister in Lok Sabha Last month. Further, Indian Army has the maximum shortage among all 3 services.  The authorized strength of Officers in Indian Army is 49933 but we have only 42635 officers to fulfill the posts. Consequently, we have shortage of 7298 officers in Indian Army Alone. Coming to the Indian Navy which has only 9736 officers as against the allowed strength of 11352 officers. Air Force on the other hand has shortage of just 192 officers. Air Force is authorized a strength of 12584 Officers. How to do Narration (PPDT)!!!

Narration is a key factor in SSB Screening and being a defence aspirant you need to be well aware of the Do's and Dont's of narration. As a part of screening test, Once the story is written, members of the group sit in a semi-circle where three assessor monitor and observe their actions. Each candidate is given a minute to narrate his story. Many go blank at this point while some get nervous. INDIAN AIR FORCE COMMANDS!!!

IAF commands - There are  Seven commands  in the Indian Air force. Central-Air-Command It was first formed at Calcutta in 1962. However later in 1966 allahabad became the Central command Headquarters. The command patrols North Central sector of this country from Himachal border to Sikkim. The area assigned to command stretches from Bareilly, Agra in the North to Bihta, Darbhanga in the East and from Indo-Nepal border in the North to Nagpur in the South. Eastern-air-command Located in Shillong and spanning a wide area the Headquarters of EAC building is the most beautiful outfit in all over Air Force today. Maintenance Command It was first formed at chakeri Kanpur. However later Nagpur became the Central command Headquarters.
